What you'll do

• Collect, review, and update patient demographic, insurance, and financial information
• verify coverage, eligibility, benefits, co-pays, and deductibles
• complete pre-registration
• schedule appointments and coordinate with physician offices and clinical departments
• obtain and document pre-certifications, referrals, and authorizations
• communicate with insurers and physician offices to resolve coverage issues
• explain benefits and patient financial responsibilities
• maintain accurate records and protect PHI
• follow HIPAA and organizational procedures
• meet productivity, accuracy, quality, and customer service expectations.
