What you'll do

• Interpret and fill drug orders
• provide patient information and counseling
• contact physicians about prescription questions or irregularities
• dispense prescriptions and compound or prepare IV admixtures if applicable
• monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness
• maintain medication records and controlled-drug inventory records
• supervise pharmacy technicians
• provide drug information
• participate in inventory control, training, meetings, and performance improvement
• support pharmacy operations as alternate leader when required.

Why this role
