The technician maintains and repairs plant machinery and equipment, helping sustain reliable production through mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.

What you'll do

• Repair plant machinery and equipment
• troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• read machine drawings, electrical schematics, charts, and blueprints
• install and repair electrical systems
• weld and torch-cut as needed
• assist with rigging and moving equipment
• maintain work orders and labor records
• complete safety and hazardous-material training
• handle hazardous waste and wastewater procedures as required
• and calibrate temperature-measuring devices.
