CNC Machinist – Swiss Lathe

What you'll do

• Operate multiple CNC machines, particularly Swiss lathe machine centers
• program, set up, and operate machines using G-code and conversational programming
• interpret blueprints, work orders, and sketches
• machine parts to tight tolerances and verify dimensions with precision tools
• prepare tooling
• load parts into workholding devices
• perform first-article and in-process inspections
• keep pallets ready
• record operation times in the barcoded job-order system
• use material-handling equipment as needed.
