What you'll do

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and enforce the academy’s discipline code
• plan instruction for individual student needs and goals
• establish lesson objectives and align instruction and assessment with curriculum standards
• develop lesson plans and use instructional-coach feedback
• collaborate with special education staff and implement IEP accommodations and modifications
• maintain student records and confidentiality
• communicate with parents about student performance
• maintain professional competence and teaching credentials
• inform school leadership of instructional resource needs
• participate in school teams
• may participate in extracurricular activities.
