Outpatient Clinical Dietitian II - Day Shift

The Outpatient Clinical Dietitian II role is hybrid in Redwood City, CA, with compensation of $49.71–$64.61 per hour. The position supports Stanford Health Care’s clinical nutrition services and patient-focused care. The dietitian applies the Nutrition Care Process to assess patients, identify nutrition diagnoses, develop and implement interventions, and monitor progress. Through independent clinical practice, collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and mentoring dietetic students and interns, the role helps align nutrition care with patients’ medical goals and department standards.

What you'll do

• Apply the Nutrition Care Process, including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
• work with professional autonomy and diagnostic reasoning
• assist oversight of the Nutrition Care Process in the assigned area
• apply research to refine specialty-area standards of care
• mentor dietetic students and interns and provide instruction and feedback
• collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
