Kid Zone Attendant

Job overview

The Kid Zone Attendant role is onsite in Pensacola, FL, and pays $15 per hour. The YMCA’s Kid Zone provides children with a safe, wholesome, and enjoyable setting for activities and development. The attendant supervises children and leads age-appropriate activities while supporting their social and emotional development. The role also communicates with parents, follows safety and program procedures, and helps maintain a clean facility during morning, evening, and Saturday hours.

What you'll do

• Help plan and lead games, sports, crafts, and other age-appropriate activities
• directly supervise children
• encourage participation and support social and emotional development
• manage behavior through redirection and time-outs and complete reports as needed
• communicate with parents
• maintain a safe, clean facility
• enforce program rules
• track sign-in, sign-out, and attendance
• attend required meetings and training
• complete accident reports and keep certifications current.

Why this role
