• Perform cardiac echocardiography and general ultrasound procedures using appropriate techniques
• confirm orders and diagnoses against medical records and follow up with the attending or hospitalist when needed
• explain procedures and educate patients
• gather relevant history
• maintain skills and knowledge
• communicate with physicians
• and prioritize patient needs and workload.
