Community Engagement Intern (Spring 2027)

Job overview

The Community Engagement Intern works in person in Dallas, TX, from January through April 2027. Compensation is $30 per hour. Zipline operates an autonomous drone delivery service focused on access to food, medicine, and essential goods; the Community Engagement Team builds relationships with local officials, civic organizations, businesses, neighborhoods, and schools. The intern supports outreach and communications that help communities understand Zipline’s services and impact. The role assists with events, content, community inquiries, research, engagement reporting, and general team administration to strengthen local partnerships.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, promoting, and executing community events, workshops, and virtual meetups
• support newsletters, social media, and other communications
• respond to community inquiries
• research community needs and engagement strategies
• track engagement metrics and compile reports
• provide administrative support to the community engagement team.
