The Cook role is onsite in Village of DeForest, WI. Compensation is $18 per hour base pay, with a $1.50 per hour weekend shift differential and pay up to $19.50 per hour. The cook supports The Legacy of DeForest, where Park Vista’s mission is to help residents live out their best years. The cook prepares and serves meals while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization, helping provide residents with quality meal service.

What you'll do

• Prepare meals using provided recipes and menus
• plate food for service
• wash dishes and use the dishwasher safely as needed
• ensure supplies and preparation are ready for meal service
• adjust menus and recipes for inventory or unforeseen issues
• coordinate and supervise shift operations in the absence of the Culinary Assistant or Director of Culinary Services
• follow safe food handling, storage, temperature documentation, and sanitation requirements.
