Quality Control Technician

Job overview

The Quality Control Technician role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, with travel to customer and worksite locations. Pay is $24 per hour. What you'll do

• Travel to customer and worksite locations to sample and test asphalt, concrete, and aggregate
• conduct field density, moisture, and gradation tests
• document and report results accurately
• ensure materials meet DOT and project specifications
• communicate quality issues and support troubleshooting
• maintain testing equipment and assist with plant and field inspections. Construction materials testing experience is preferred
• training is provided.
