Service Technician

Job overview

The Service Technician role is onsite in Pass Christian, MS. Compensation is $30–$55 per hour, based on experience. The technician supports J. Allen Ford’s automotive service shop and helps maintain the safety and reliability of customers’ vehicles. The technician diagnoses vehicle issues, performs repairs, and communicates findings and progress to the service team. Accurate work and adherence to safety and environmental requirements support dependable vehicle service.

What you'll do

• Examine vehicles to identify issues and perform repairs
• coordinate work and labor estimates with the Shop Foreman and Service Advisors
• communicate repair progress and additional maintenance needs
• stay current with factory technical bulletins and attend company-provided training
• assist in developing technician trainees
• follow dealership policies and environmental and safety rules for hazardous waste disposal.
