The Fill-In Teacher Assistant role is onsite in La Conner, WA, at the Susan Wilbur Early Education Center; compensation is not specified. Working under the guidance of the Director and Lead Teacher, the assistant helps plan and present classroom activities, provides direct support to children, and completes assigned classroom and housekeeping duties. What you'll do

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and presenting classroom activities
• provide direction and direct support to children
• assist children who have difficulty in a group setting
• greet and provide customer service to families
• complete assigned daily classroom and housekeeping duties
• maintain confidentiality
• help oversee cleanliness and health and safety in accordance with Tribal Child Care licensing and Tribal Code
• work with department staff and attend meetings or conferences representing the Tribe.
