What you'll do

• Prepare and maintain dental operatories and sterilize instruments
• set up trays and procedure materials
• assist providers during examinations and procedures
• prepare patients and support comfort
• take and process dental radiographs in accordance with certification and safety protocols
• collect and record patient histories
• provide oral-hygiene and postoperative education as directed
• support intake, discharge, and patient flow
• assist with impressions, models, laboratory cases, and scanning
• coordinate referrals
• maintain infection-control standards
• support dental locations, including school-based settings, as needed
• perform expanded-function duties only if certified and authorized under Pennsylvania law.
