What you'll do

• Assist with the maintenance of unit supplies.
• Collect data on assigned patients as directed by Registered Nurse (RN).
• Provide appropriate and timely documentation in the patient’s electronic health record.
• Demonstrate competency in selected psychomotor skills.
• Perform or assist patients with the activities of daily living.
• Assist with surgical site prep.
• Provide assistance to physicians during endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of pulmonary procedures.
• Assist with handling endoscopic instrumentation during procedures.
• Clean and disinfect scopes and other equipment.
