Job overview
The Test Engineering Intern role is onsite at Rocket Lab’s Stennis, Mississippi site for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January, February, or March 2027. Pay is $25 per hour. Rocket Lab builds rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems; the Test Operations team supports Archimedes rocket engine testing and the Neutron vehicle program. The internship provides hands-on learning in engine test operations, including support for engine rebuilds, test readiness, and hardware swaps. Working with mentors and the Test Operations team, the intern applies engineering concepts to operational challenges and develops technical and professional skills.
