Security Officer — Medical Patrol

The Security Officer — Medical Patrol role is onsite in Palatka, FL, with pay of $18.49 per hour. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., and Sunday and Monday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. The assignment is in a hospital environment. The officer patrols hospital grounds, supports access control and emergency response, and documents incidents to help protect patients, staff, visitors, and property.

What you'll do

• Conduct foot or vehicle patrols and document unusual conditions
• assist hospital staff with de-escalation and restrain combative individuals when necessary under applicable guidelines
• transport patients to the morgue as needed
• escort patients from the helicopter pad to the emergency room
• assist with evacuations
• sound alarms or contact emergency services
• monitor entrances and exits
• investigate and report incidents and suspicious activity
• maintain written logs.
