Optical Supervisor

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day optical and contact lens department operations
• assist doctors and support patient care
• guide staff and document quarterly employee discussions
• hold staff accountable for performance
• provide input on hiring, termination, and assignments
• orient and train new employees
• communicate organizational activities
• implement operational systems
• coordinate patient and insurance collections
• review daily and weekly reports
• ensure insurance verification and electronic claim submissions
• prepare secondary insurance submissions
• hold monthly staff meetings
• attend company training events, including quarterly supervisory training.
