The Caregiver / Personal Care Specialist role is onsite in Palmyra, VA, providing in-home care to a female client. Compensation is $16–$19 per hour. Senior Helpers’ stated mission is to help seniors age with dignity. The caregiver provides daily personal assistance and companionship, helping the client with activities of daily living while keeping the family informed about changes in the client’s condition or behavior.

What you'll do

• Provide care in the client’s family home
• assist with personal hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• remain engaged with the client and family
• complete and document daily tasks
• and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability, or behavior. The listed schedules are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4 p.m.–8 p.m.
