Sustainable Design Analyst

Job overview

The Sustainable Design Analyst role is onsite in Portland, OR; compensation is $65,000–$80,000 per year. The analyst supports project teams at ZGF Architects in improving building performance and advancing sustainable design goals.

What you'll do

• Work with architecture teams, consultants, and clients on sustainable design strategies
• support US and Canadian projects pursuing higher building performance
• support WELL, LEED, Living Building Challenge, and Zero Carbon certification efforts
• lead life-cycle assessments and collaborate on design optimization
• perform other sustainable design analyses as needed and within experience
• communicate findings through graphics and data
• research sustainable products and materials
• improve analysis workflows
• train design staff
• contribute to office initiatives and marketing.
