The Estimating Engineer - Commercial Construction is an onsite role based in Creola, AL, with a salary range of $95,000 - $130,000 per year. The role exists to assist the estimate lead throughout the bid process by managing and coordinating incoming bid information and preparing detailed pricing for individual disciplines. The engineer will maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

What you'll do

• Manage incoming invitations to bid.
• Issue invitations to bid to subcontractor partners.
• Identify, coordinate, and track key dates and deliverables.
• Assist in maintaining internal historical cost and subcontractor databases.
• Prepare detailed scope sheets.
• Develop a working knowledge of material unit costs and systems unit costs.
