This leader sets engineering strategy and oversees teams delivering secure, scalable payment and money-movement capabilities. The role supports reliable transaction processing and financial accuracy while coordinating with product, finance, treasury, risk, compliance, security, and external payment partners.

What you'll do

• Lead multiple software engineering teams
• set technical strategy, operational objectives, and roadmaps
• oversee payment platform architecture and delivery
• support card, ACH, disbursement, ledger, settlement, reconciliation, refund, return, dispute, and exception workflows
• maintain reliability, transaction integrity, auditability, observability, disaster recovery, and compliance
• partner with internal departments and external processors and banks
• manage budgets, staffing, recruitment, and performance
• monitor payment engineering metrics
• use approved GenAI tools with data governance and security safeguards.
