Shift Miller (Technical Milling Operator) — Overnight Rotation

The Shift Miller (Technical Milling Operator) role is onsite in Platteville, CO, on 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. in a 2-2-3 rotation. Pay is $30–$32 per hour. The role supports Bay State Milling Company’s grain and flour production operation. The Shift Miller operates and adjusts milling and grain-cleaning equipment, uses production and laboratory information to guide process decisions, and leads shift personnel to support safe, efficient production and product quality.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust grain-cleaning and milling equipment
• analyze laboratory and shift data
• communicate production or quality issues to plant management
• direct and train hourly employees on safety, procedures, and policies
• identify process improvements and help prevent downtime.
