Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Eden, NY, and pays $16.75 per hour. The schedule includes Monday through Friday and alternate weekends. Eden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s Dietary Department supports meal service for residents in a long-term care setting. The aide helps prepare and serve meals, keeps dining areas ready for resident service, stocks supplies, and follows dietary department procedures and applicable long-term care regulations. The role also includes cleaning duties and participation in in-service education.

What you'll do

• Use dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned
• meet meal and snack times
• assist the cook with meal preparation and service
• follow applicable regulations and department procedures
• complete scheduled cleaning
• set dining rooms
• serve meals
• stock pantry and cupboards
• attend in-service educational programs
• perform other duties assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
