Music Director, Worship

The Music Director, Worship role is onsite in Osseo, MN. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Creative Church’s worship environments and works closely with the Worship Director, worship leaders, musicians, and Production Team. The director prepares and leads worship music while developing musicians and maintaining musical resources and systems. The role helps translate worship leadership’s vision into prepared, flexible services and builds the skills and leadership capacity of volunteer and next-generation musicians.

What you'll do

• Lead musicians during rehearsals, soundchecks, and services
• prepare and execute worship sets
• build arrangements, transitions, cues, and extended worship sections
• adapt to changes during services
• communicate musical direction using established systems
• coordinate with Production and Audio
• prepare songs, charts, keys, tempos, tracks, patches, and other resources
• maintain Planning Center Online materials
• play worship keys and manage keyboard sounds and playback workflows
• coach, mentor, recruit, and develop musicians
• support youth and young adult worship environments as responsibilities may include.
