What you'll do

• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, and bolt parts
• evaluate fabricated components for fit and provide feedback
• use patterns and templates to cut parts
• cut metal plates and structural shapes
• assemble parts with rivets and fasteners
• use metalworking tools and shop equipment
• perform advanced MIG welding
• apply NASCAR rules and procedures
• measure car specifications using equipment such as a Romer Arm.

Why this role
