Accounts Payable Clerk

What you'll do

• Gather and sort documents and related information
• verify transactions, schedule and prepare invoice payments, and obtain payment authorization
• verify revenue transactions, compute charges and refunds, prepare invoices, and identify delinquent or insufficient payments
• follow up on delinquent accounts
• prepare financial reports
• post transactions to accounting ledgers
• reconcile statements and transactions
• investigate and resolve discrepancies
• follow internal accounting controls
• back up financial data and maintain accounting records.
