Safety Support Associate — Interim Housing

The Safety Support Associate role is onsite in Long Beach, CA, with pay of $21.71–$26.36 per hour. PATH’s Interim Housing Team supports people experiencing homelessness and works to help clients find housing. This role helps maintain a safe, stable interim housing site for participants, staff, and visitors. The associate monitors the facility and grounds, engages participants, coordinates with case management and contracted security when applicable, and responds to crises using de-escalation strategies.

What you'll do

• Monitor the interim housing site and grounds

• conduct regular rounds and report concerns
• assist with safety documentation
• respond to security or crisis situations using nonviolent crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation.
