What you'll do

• Process transactions through the cash register and point-of-sale system
• handle cash, make change and balance the drawer
• accept approved payment methods and process SNAP and WIC purchases according to procedures
• issue receipts
• greet customers, answer questions and resolve issues
• follow regulations for weights, alcohol and tobacco sales
• identify, bag and stock merchandise
• maintain a clean checkout area and communicate with customers and teammates.
