Site Coordinator, Before & After School Program

The Site Coordinator role is onsite in Barrington, RI, approximately 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Compensation is $22 per hour. The Greater Providence YMCA’s program serves school-age children through academically aligned activities and supports their safety and development.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily Before & After School Program operations and staff
• plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and school-vacation programming
• collect participant growth and program-quality data
• maintain licensing records and safety procedures
• coordinate family events and support
• manage snacks or meals under applicable nutrition requirements
• and oversee supplies, equipment, and site cleanup.

Why this role

Applicants must be at least 21 and meet the stated education and supervised experience pathway: a related bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience, or a related associate degree plus two years. Required child-safety and licensing certifications apply before work; CPR, First Aid, AED, and Emergency Oxygen training are required within 60 days.
