General Laborer – Copper Manufacturing

The General Laborer – Copper Manufacturing role is fully onsite in South Gate, CA. Compensation is $19.25–$20.00 per hour, with a day shift from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloys. The laborer supports daily production through material handling, housekeeping, basic production tasks, and visual inspections. The role helps maintain safe, organized operations and supports machine operators and production teams.

What you'll do

• Assist with production, material handling, and shop-floor support
• load, unload, move, and stage materials and products
• clean and organize work areas
• support machine operators with setup, teardown, and routine tasks
• visually inspect materials and finished products
• follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and work instructions
• report safety, equipment, or quality concerns.
