Senior Estimator, Heavy Civil Construction

The Senior Estimator, Heavy Civil Construction role is office-based and may be located in Denver, CO; Rocklin, CA; West Palm Beach, FL; or remote. Compensation is $140,000–$180,000 per year. The estimator develops cost estimates and proposals for assigned projects and services, coordinating with capture teams and company reviewers. The role supports competitive, well-documented bids by assessing project requirements, costs, risks, and schedules.

What you'll do

• Work with capture teams to develop solutions and estimate resources for projects
• prepare detailed cost estimates using HCSS and assist with proposal documents
• assess and communicate project risks
• coordinate quantity takeoffs
• interpret measurement and payment terms, drawings, and specifications
• apply equipment and labor rates
• obtain competitive quotes for materials and subcontracted services
• prepare high-level proposal schedules
• maintain cost information databases
• attend pre-bid walks as needed
• assemble bid files
• interface with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
• meet bid deadlines
• mentor estimating staff and interns.
