The Cable Designer role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, with compensation of $27–$37 per hour. Konik is recruiting for an engineering and manufacturing organization developing complex electromechanical systems. The designer turns engineering requirements into cable assembly, wire harness, and interconnect designs and production documentation. The work supports engineering teams through design updates, reviews, and resolution of potential design issues across the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Develop cable assembly, wire harness, and interconnect drawings
• create and maintain CAD models for connectors, switches, and related electrical hardware
• produce schematics, installation drawings, and design documentation
• implement engineering changes and update records
• participate in design reviews
• track project progress
• identify and help resolve design issues.
