What you'll do

• Handle estimating for preconstruction, hard bids, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies, comparisons, and value engineering
• solicit subcontractor and vendor bids
• prepare bid packages and transmit addenda
• submit bids and budgets by deadlines
• review requirements and develop RFIs and clarifications
• analyze assigned trades and subcontractor coverage
• follow up on bids
• turn over bid documents and buyout information to project management
• manage assistant estimators and lead estimating teams on projects.
