The Field Service Technician – Medical Waste role is onsite across required hospital locations in Tampa, Riverview, and Tarpon Springs, FL. Pay is $18–$20 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5 AM to 2 PM. Daniels Health provides medical waste collection and safety services to healthcare facilities, with a focus on reducing needlestick injuries, improving infection control, and reducing environmental burden. The technician supports hospital operations by exchanging and servicing medical waste containers, maintaining supplies, and keeping staging areas orderly. The work helps ensure safe, timely waste handling and proper segregation in clinical settings while coordinating with hospital staff and the Daniels Health team.

What you'll do

• Work with hospital staff on medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces.
• Lift containers up to 50 pounds and push or pull carts up to 300 pounds.
• Maintain container inventory, stock and organize areas, use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks and report issues, and keep staging areas clean and orderly.
