Service Technician, Loading Dock Equipment

Job overview

The Service Technician role is based out of Sioux City, IA, with work from home and direct travel to job sites; the technician also works in the Omaha area occasionally and picks up parts from the Omaha office. Compensation is $20–$50 per hour. Acme Dock Specialists distributes loading dock equipment, doors, and in-plant products and supports customers' shipping, warehousing, and production operations. The technician repairs, installs, adjusts, and maintains loading dock levelers and overhead doors, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to help customer facilities keep operating safely and reliably.

What you'll do

• Repair, install, and adjust loading dock levelers and overhead doors
• troubleshoot and repair defective mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic equipment
• perform preventive maintenance
• respond to work orders promptly
• follow safety policies and procedures.
