What you'll do

• Evaluate system specifications and hardware/software compatibility
• troubleshoot mainframe systems and applications
• administer, configure, and maintain mainframe hardware, operating systems, and software
• monitor and adjust systems for operational effectiveness
• document configurations and procedures
• assist application and support staff
• develop backup and disaster recovery strategies
• support and monitor CICS TS 5.6 in a CICSPlex
• make directed changes to CICS environments and CSD
• assist with CICS and supporting product releases
• participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for problem resolution and SEV1 incidents.
