Quality Assurance Coordinator – Automotive Finishing

The Quality Assurance Coordinator works onsite at an automotive finishing facility in Sterling Heights, MI, on a split rotating schedule: Friday–Saturday days, 6:45 AM–4:45 PM, and Sunday–Monday nights, 6:45 PM–4:45 AM. Pay is $18.34 per hour. The role verifies quality processes for products installed on customer vehicles. The coordinator inspects incoming and finished products, audits work in process, and identifies nonconforming items. These checks help ensure product quality and compliance with work instructions and safety and environmental procedures.

What you'll do

• Complete quality check sheets, first-off checks, and critical vehicle inspections
• inspect incoming and finished products

• tag nonconforming products and separate them from the production area
• follow work instructions and applicable safety and environmental procedures.
