What you'll do

• Teach assigned swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines and prepared lesson plans
• build positive relationships with participants and provide motivation
• encourage member and parent involvement
• share aquatics program information and refer participants as appropriate
• maintain attendance and progress records
• attend staff meetings and training
• follow emergency and safety procedures and complete incident reports
• organize equipment and report damage
• train and supervise class aides as assigned.
