The Director of Sales — Full-Service Hotel role is onsite in Clearwater, FL, in the Clearwater and St. Petersburg area; compensation is $80,000–$90,000 per year. The role leads sales for a full-service branded hotel serving corporate, group, sports, social, and leisure business. The director develops sales strategy, builds a pipeline, closes business, and drives market share and revenue across rooms, groups, and catering. Collaboration with the General Manager and revenue management supports growth in RevPAR and total revenue.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing plan for transient, group, and catering segments
• prospect and win local corporate accounts
• grow group business including meetings, sports teams, SMERF, and wedding room blocks
• drive catering and meeting-space revenue
• manage key accounts and negotiate LNR and group contracts
• partner with revenue management on pricing, displacement, and forecasting
• lead and coach sales team members
• maintain CRM records
• represent the hotel at local business, CVB, and chamber events
• report weekly on pipeline, production, and budget pace.

Why this role
