What you'll do

• Prepare and plate menu items to quality and consistency standards
• follow recipes, presentation standards, and food-safety practices
• maintain hygiene
• communicate with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• follow portion controls and help reduce waste
• log kitchen temperatures and report hazards
• clean and monitor equipment
• label, date, and store prepared food
• maintain clean, organized storage
• reduce cross-contamination risks
• assist front-of-house with orders
• contribute ideas for menu specials and kitchen improvements.
