Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $32 per hour. The position maintains the building and its grounds under the direction of the Property Manager for The Salvation Army Golden State Division. The role exists to keep the facility safe, clean, sanitary, and operational. Through routine preventive maintenance, repairs, service-request completion, and coordination with the Property Manager and outside contractors, the technician helps preserve the property and support scheduled activities.

What you'll do

• Perform basic repairs, including painting, drywall, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work
• monitor HVAC and building systems and report issues
• complete maintenance requests and preventive maintenance tasks
• maintain facility cleanliness, restrooms, grounds, and the maintenance shop
• set up, break down, and clean up for scheduled activities and special events
• monitor outside contractor work
• participate in the Building Emergency Response Team
• follow applicable safety standards and properly use equipment and cleaning supplies.
