Senior Superintendent — Concrete Construction

The Senior Superintendent — Concrete Construction role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, with required travel within Central New York. Estimated compensation is $100,000–$130,000 per year. C&S Companies provides planning, design, and construction services for infrastructure and other projects. The superintendent leads field operations and concrete work to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in conformance with contract documents. The role coordinates subcontractors and project partners, manages field administration and quality, and mentors assistant superintendents and field staff.

What you'll do

• Lead project scheduling and weekly look-ahead planning
• review plans and specifications and provide constructability input
• direct site activities and supervise field staff and trades
• plan and oversee concrete operations
• coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, testing, and inspections
• manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking
• conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and applicable safety standards
• maintain quality control, field documentation, and as-built drawings
• coordinate punch lists and closeout
• communicate incidents and unsafe conditions.
