The Yard Jockey works onsite in Jessup, MD. Compensation is $22 per hour. The role supports Class Produce and TGD yard operations by moving trailers between buildings and lots. The jockey keeps trucks and trailers positioned, fueled, and inspected so yard and dispatch operations can proceed safely and efficiently. Loading, temperature monitoring, paperwork, and occasional local deliveries provide additional operational support.

What you'll do

• Drive trucks safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
• move trucks in the Class Produce and TGD yard
• fuel trucks and trailers as needed
• inspect equipment daily
• assist drivers and dispatch with repair trips
• open and close trailer doors
• monitor trailer temperatures
• pull and stage trailers
• load and unload trucks
• maintain product knowledge
• make local short deliveries at times
• complete required paperwork.

Why this role

Requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and two or more years of truck-driving experience. The schedule options include Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., or Tuesday–Friday, 6 a.m.–2 p.m., plus Saturday until finished.
