Senior Construction Estimator

Job overview

The Senior Construction Estimator role is a full onsite position in Alameda, CA. Salary is $150,000–$175,000; a quarterly bonus is available after one year of employment. The role supports construction project estimating and the Operations team. The estimator develops accurate project estimates, schedules, and supporting documents, coordinating labor, materials, vendors, and subcontractors. The role also provides project-management support and mentorship to junior team members to help deliver assigned projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare and manage conceptual through detailed cost estimates
• analyze labor costs and determine project duration and material procurement needs
• attend pre-bid jobsite meetings
• prepare preliminary schedules, RFIs, RFQs, and project documents
• perform quantity takeoffs
• support Operations project management
• attend trade shows and sales events
• develop mentorship and training programs for junior team members.
