The Assistant Director of Budgets & Reimbursement is an onsite role based in Valley Stream, NY. This role exists to oversee budgeting, reimbursement, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting for skilled nursing and healthcare operations. The assistant director partners with leadership to drive informed financial decision-making and support organizational growth.

What you'll do

• Work with Accounting firms to coordinate the process of preparing and submitting annual Medicare, Medicaid and State statistical reports.
• Collaborate with corporate and facility staff with respect to developing annual operating and capital budgets.
• Conduct performance reviews of financial results compared to budgeted expectations.
• Work with State officials/delegates related to Medicaid/Medicare cost report audits, third party rate reviews and appeals.
• Managed/coordinate Certificate of Need process related to capital projects.
• Perform all qualitative/quantitative analysis related to capital acquisitions.
