Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

Job overview

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis role is hybrid, with onsite presence three days per week in North Billerica, MA. The base salary range is $200,000–$230,000 per year, plus a comprehensive compensation package. The role partners with SHINE management and supports Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial, and G&A departments within the medical product group. The director leads financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support in a regulated, capital-intensive environment. The role develops and maintains budgeting and forecasting processes, improves financial transparency, and provides leadership with analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecasts
• analyze revenue forecasts
• prepare monthly management reporting
• present results and forecasts to executives and stakeholders
• develop KPIs and dashboards
• improve FP&A tools and reporting
• oversee capital expenditure tracking and cost reporting
• support reconciliations and audits
• mentor the FP&A team
• partner across functions on process improvements and systems
• ensure compliance with controls and regulatory requirements.
