What you'll do

• Review lien claims and assess validity, billing practices, and exposure
• compare billed services with accepted body parts and treatment authorization
• audit bills against applicable fee schedules and guidelines
• research and document billing disputes
• prepare case summaries, authority requests, and resolution recommendations
• assist with discovery and trial exhibits and e-filing
• negotiate settlements
• participate under guidance in lower-complexity WCAB appearances
• maintain case notes, databases, trackers, and reports.
