The General Surgeon role is a mobile, onsite clinical position based in Tazewell, TN, with compensation of $200,000–$350,000 per year. The National Wound Physician Group provides bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. The surgeon provides wound management during facility rounds, treating patients at the bedside and documenting care in real time using a wound-specific electronic medical record. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided.

What you'll do

• Provide bedside wound management in post-acute care facilities
• conduct weekly wound rounds
• visit two to three facilities per day and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day as described
• document care in real time using the wound-specific EMR
• complete onboarding training and the wound care fellowship.
