This role involves driving a CDL A flatbed truck locally and regionally, with two layovers per week. The driver will transport wood moulding and perform strapping duties.
What you'll do
- Safely operate a flatbed truck on local and some regional routes
- Transport wood moulding in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including strapping
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping.
